This is a piece of dialogue taken from an interview with terry pratchett discussing the stigma attached to dementia. (see part 3 of 4) I edited it down....taking particular extracts.

Memories. Dealing with the deterioration of a persons memory due to dementia.

For this piece i aim to represent a person memories being erased due to dementia to highlight the serious and drastic effect it has. 

Choosing audio that suggests this; such as wedding bells and a happy birthday. Events in someone's life. Although i think the audio isn't perfect, i think it gives a good idea.

Thinking of how as memories fade due to dementia it leaves a person with the feeling of just themselves. No life, or past.

The Signs.

Deals with the early signs of dementia. 

Through the research I did it came apparent that their was some confusion about what actually happens to you if you have dementia. So produced an informative piece to raise awareness of these possible early signs. 

It would sit along side existing material on the society's you tube website.

In conjunction with the 'out of the shadows' viral I produced this web banner using some of the footage.

Development

Final edit. Descided to remove most iof the audio in order to let the visuals convey the message. Taking footage into AE, type has been added. 

Added the audio of a track we had considered. Gives a good idea

of the pace the viral will take. The audio works well considering that 

no further editing was required.  

Initial edit of 2nd shoot to get an idea of how the footage will work.
